Monopoly GO Gold Stickers: How to Trade

Golden Blitz is the new limited time event that allows you to trade certain gold stickers in Monopoly GO. Look out for this event when you play the game on the right side of the game screen.

When the Golden Blitz event runs, it's usually only for 12 hours, and usually only allows the trade of two specific gold stickers. Read on for a complete guide to Golden Blitz, and how it works.

Trading Monopoly GO gold stickers works in exactly the same was as normal stickers, except you are limited to only trading the gold stickers selected by the event.

To trade, tap the Golden Blitz icon, then select the card you want to trade from the option of two on the screen. You can only send a gold sticker if you have it as a duplicate.

After selecting, just find the friend that you want to send it to and send it. You are still limited to a maximum number of five trades per day.

You'll receive and stickers send to you the next time that you log in.

Why haven't I seen Golden Blitz yet?

You may simply have missed it! The event only lasts for 12 hours, so if you've not logged in for a while the event may have been and gone already. Look out for it to return in the future.

To see if you have access to Golden Blitz, head to your album and then select either Discovery or Happy Trading, if you have more than one of either of these cards, then click it to see if you are able to send it to a friend.

However some people are already heading out to various Reddit and Discord groups offering their golden stickers for sale, so who knows it this feature will ever roll out to cover more stickers or not seeing as there is no benefit to the game developers if people are selling their stickers.

How to find someone to trade with?

As well as Monopoly GO Facebook groups, there are plenty of SubReddits and Discords that help you find people to trade with. Do exercise caution when organizing a trade, and if possible ask the person you are trading with to send their sticker first.

However, saying that, the gold trading is frustratingly limited to just a selection of two gold cards every time the event is run. We do understand this does give some balance though and why it's necessary to just have limited gold sticker trading, otherwise it may become too easy to complete a sticker album.

Overall I welcome Golden Blitz, and hope that it will be a regular event in the game and that the cards that we can trade will continue to be different each time.
